Pelikan Griffix sets new standards by introducing the first comprehensive system in the world for teaching children from pre-school age and upwards how to write properly. This concept has been developed based on the latest research on graphomotor skills in cooperation with specialized educationalists and the Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Engineering.

Step 1 - Wax Pen: At the pre-school age, the child will learn how to hold the pen and apply the correct pressure
Step 2 - Pencil: At the start of school, the child learns more
Step 3 - Ink Writer: In preparation for the fountain pen, the child learns more fluid writing movements
Step 4 - Fountain Pen: In the last step of the learning process, the child learns good writing form

The Griffix Wax Pen is suitable for left- and right-handed writing and is useful for a child to find out his/her preferred hand. The Griffix Pencil, Ink Writer and Fountain Pen has individualized grip adjustments for left-handed writing and is only suitable for left-handers.
